Dual vocational training
Combines training with professional development
The projects of Dual training combine the provision of a Professional certificate with a employment contract in a company. This allows students to apply the knowledge acquired in a real environment and increase their chances of finding employment at the end of the programme.

This project belongs to line 2 Vocational Schools, which consists of 2 phases:
Preliminary Phase
The actions of key competences level 2 are taught for Professional Certificates without languages: communication in Spanish language and mathematics (240 teaching hours), basic digital competences (60 hours) and basic training in occupational risk prevention (30 hours).
This phase runs from 21 March 2024 to 30 July 2024.
Students achieve:
- Certification in key competences in mathematics and language level 2.
- Training in digital skills and prevention.
- Preparation for the next phase of the project.
Main Phase
In this phase, training alternates with work. Level 2 training action ‘Sales activities’ is given, which consists of 510 hours.
It alternates with paid work activity for the student/worker through an alternating training contract lasting 1458 hours.
This phase runs from 13 January 2025 to 4 November 2025. Theoretical teaching hours represent 35% and hours of paid work activity in companies 65%.
Students achieve:
- Level II professional certificate in the speciality ‘Sales activities’.
- Paid work and professional experience through an employment contract with the category according to the occupations and positions related to the certificate of professionalism with a duration of 948 hours of effective work, for 9.76 months.
- After the end of the project, at least 28.57% of the trainees/workers will continue with a subsequent employment.
